Sarah leads resource development for Together for Girls and the Brave Movement. She works with funders to create and maintain transparent and impactful partnerships and is driving the development of new strategic initiatives, working with a range of different funders.
Before joining TfG, Sarah worked for International Crisis Group where she was Director of Philanthropy, leading a multi-country team to build meaningful, long-term partnerships with philanthropists, family foundations and the private sector. During her tenure she created and led the Women’s Global Alliance for Peace, an initiative bringing together an international network of women philanthropists who share a desire for a safer, fairer and more peaceful world. Prior to this, Sarah led fundraising teams at ActionAid International, where she supported the growth of High-Value income across the federation, and Oxfam Great Britain, where she led fundraising from Trusts and Foundations.
Sarah has a BSc in Psychology from the University of Kent, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Development and Conflict from the Open University.
Hobbies outside of work Sarah loves to travel and spend time outdoors, and does so at every opportunity. She has recently discovered a love for running and has practiced yoga for more than twenty years.
