The Government of Moldova led the implementation of the first Violence Against Children and Youth Survey (VACS) in Europe in 2019, and launched the VACS report in 2020.
The Ministry of Labor, Social Protection, and Family coordinated the implementation of the VACS with support from USAID, APCA, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Moldova, with support from partners, is currently in the process of developing its response plan.
