Yet, HIV/AIDS continues to extract an unacceptable cost; every single minute, someone dies from AIDS-related causes. The world cannot afford to slow down on efforts to end the epidemic as a public health threat. For that reason, continued support of PEPFAR is essential to meeting our collective goal of ending HIV/AIDS as a public health threat.
